ChargedUp Prints uses SMS text messages to notify customers when a digital proof is ready to review, and to send reminders if a proof hasn't been reviewed yet. This page explains exactly how we collect your consent before texting you, what you'll receive, and how to stop.
When you contact ChargedUp Prints by phone, text, or in person to request a print job, we ask for a phone number so we can text you a link to review your proof. Before adding your number to our system, we confirm out loud that it's okay to text you. A typical exchange looks like this:
ChargedUp Prints: "I'll text you a link to review your proof, and a reminder if I don't hear back in a couple days — is that okay?"
Customer: "Yes, that's fine."
Your phone number is only added to our system after you agree. We do not text anyone who has not verbally confirmed this.
These are transactional/informational messages only. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.
When your phone number is entered into our system, our staff records whether verbal consent was given, along with the date and time it was confirmed. This record is kept on file for the life of your order.
